Naptime

Well, I just returned from a fabulous weekend getaway to Vegas. Needless to say, I am counting down the hours until I can catch up on much needed sleep!

I am uploading all of my pictures tonight from Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Vegas, so expect lots of travel posts this week! I can't wait to share with you my adventures. Have a relaxing Monday, everyone!

Back from the Tropics!

Hello my beautiful friends! I am back from my vacation of complete bliss and rejuvenation (coupled with a dose of tropical adventure). The photo is from the picturesque Hotel Le Reve in Playa del Carmen, where my boyfriend and I stayed for four nights before staying in Tulum for another couple of days. It was absolutely divine.

Memorable Summer Hair

Whether it be wind swept beach waves, a short pixie cut, lengthy braids, a side chiffon, a french bun or a sleek pulled back pony tale, your options are endless for fabulous summer hair.

I might have to look into growing out my hair to below shoulder length, so I can experiment with these fabulous braided dues and large buns. Until then, I will keep twisting a section of my hair and pinning it when it is down, embracing my natural waves and overall, have fun and be experimental. After all, your hair is your best accessory!

Dreaming of far away places...

 
Dreaming of cobblestone roads and far away castles, beautiful boat-rides and Parisian cafes. With the weekend approaching, I would give anything to pack my bags and jet off to a far away place, preferably Europe again...I am dying to go back. I seriously cannot WAIT to get this rather persistent travel urge out of my system, but I suppose recently graduating college means that I need patience...which is NOT my strong suit. Well, until then I will have to settle on these enticing pictures of magic, wonder, and aesthetic lust!

"Take me away" Tuesdays...

Sigh. Don't you feel so much more relaxed after looking at these serene photographs taken by the talented Joreen Bones? I certainly do. I adore how her photography looks like it was taken ages ago and rediscovered after many lost years. Photography truly has the unique and beautiful power of taking us away to far off lands and to a new peace of mind and tranquility. I feel more relaxed already...now, back to reality!

I think it is so important to take the time out of our crazy week to explore our surroundings. We get so used to our routine of work/ school/ family/ whatever, that we rarely take the time to just take a couple minutes out of our day to explore nature and soak it in! Whether it be going on a walk with a friend, to taking the time to explore nature in your own company (weather permitting of course), I truly believe it is such a boost to our happiness and well-being! I hope you get to enjoy that this week. xo
