So, I have this brown sofa...

I have this fabulous sofa that my dear friend over at The.Margaret.Files gave to me about a year ago. It's a chocolate brown modern sectional that has literally seen every colored throw pillow known in the rainbow. I simply cannot make up my mind. Looking back on my pictures that I posted, however, I must say that there are quite a few postings of pinks and browns. Maybe I answered my own question as to what I should stick with. Then again, changing my color palettes every few months (or weeks) isn't so bad, is it? My wallet probably thinks so, but it's just so much fun and fabulous always changing things around! What is your favorite color combo with a brown couch?

Dreaming of a NY inspired weekend

I am seriously dying to go back to New York right now, especially with Spring right around the corner! The energy is like no other in the country, or the world for that matter. The last time I was there was last Spring when I visited one of my dearest friends from college. Thankfully, she is coming to visit in a couple weeks and I know she will bring her New York fab & pizazz with her! Even though the possibilities of me hopping on a jet to NYC tonight are slim to none, I am thinking that I need to book a ticket for a weekend soon. Very soon. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! xo

Repeat Obsession: Gauzy and Romantic Photography

This divine editorial was featured last month in Fashion Gone Rogue. I couldn't help but posting it's elegance and ethereal perfection. "Morning Beauty" featuring Natalia Vodianova by Glen Luchford truly epitomizes gauzy and romantic photography which simply takes my breath away!

Blanco Spring 2011 Collection

With Spring right around the corner, what better way to start celebrating than with Blanco's Spring 2011 collection! The nautical inspired collection elegantly combines Spring staples such as bold stripes, nude animal print, soft fabrics and short hemlines, while still maintaining this season's freshness. This definitely makes me in the mood to kick off my riding boots and throw on my wedges!!

Back from my mini excursion!

Hello friends, I know I have been a horrible blogger the past week since I have been completely MIA. Here's what happened...My boyfriend took me out for a wonderful weekend getaway in SF. We stayed at the St. Francis and actually got up-graded to the top floor penthouse because the first room we got wasn't cleaned ( I won't go into details but it was gross.) Needless to say, the penthouse was absolutely breathtaking. It completely overlooked the entire city, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square and the entire Bay. Never in a million years could we have afforded that room right now, so it was an amazing treat! On Saturday, we shopped around the city and soaked in the perfect weather. My boyfriend is obsessed with Antique shops (as am I) and we came across a beautiful Georgian antique oil-painting which we ended up taking home with us. I will post a pic of it soon...I am absolutely giddy about it! After that, I was back to reality when I had jury duty on Monday and a sick day on Tuesday, hence why I was out of commission in the blogosphere. I missed looking into all the millions of lovely inspirations & posting everyday, so I am back and ready to start blogging again! Hope everyone is well, xo

The Perfect Spring Table

I have been desperately in the mood to entertain recently. Not just "throw out some chips, dip, beer and wine" entertaining, but a full on dinner soiree with table centerpieces galore. With Spring right around the corner, what better way to embrace these festivities than researching some fabulous Spring table-settings. I love the idea of mixing fruit and flowers together, like in the first picture. So fresh and festive. I think my favorite look this season must be the fourth look from the top: a simple white tablecloth, moss lining the middle and white boxed vases filled with grass, white roses and white orchards. Simple and fabulous. However, I must say that the flower filled-table enveloped by the meadow (in picture two) is a close second. Absolutely stunning. Then again, I am in love with the uniqueness of each picture, so it is hard to say which one is my fave! Which table setting would you pick? Happy (almost) Spring! xo
