A couple thoughts...

The above chandelier: do I love? I keep going back and forth on it. On one hand I think that it looks rather stunning in this airy room...I like the contrast of the weight of the chandelier paired with the light and breezy room. However, I could see it being controversial...thoughts?
There is something so perfect about this room above. I am adoring the simple color palette, the traditional elements paired with the contemporary in a cohesive and simple way, not to mention that I am always a sucker for pops of animal print.
Fabulous walk in closet with a fireplace, zebra print rug and chandelier? Done and done.
There is something about Spring that makes me love turquoise even more. This room completely epitomizes the freshness of this time of year.

The Perfect Mother's Day Table

Whether it be a touch of rosemary gracing the napkin, billowy blue hydrangeas or a table runner of daisies and wheatgrass, there is never a shortage of ideas for a fabulous Mother's Day table. I haven't quite decided  what I am going to do yet to decorate my mother's table this year, but right now I am inspired by the citrus elements paired with bountiful Spring flowers. I might have to flip through my files of spring tablescapes to find even more fabulous table inspiration. Are you decorating a Mother's Day table this year and if so, what are you doing? I'd love to hear your feedback!

A Wonderland Inspired Party...

When I came across this lovely "Alice in Wonderland" party created by Hana Lynch it instantly made me smile. I am always looking for Spring entertaining inspiration and this party has the perfect combination of whimsy, cheer and being absolutely memorable. What a fabulous idea for a Spring get-together, bridal shower or birthday. Since my birthday is coming up soon, this might be the perfect theme to celebrate!

Back from the weekend...

Well, I am back from my mini excursion of a weekend. I took a little time off to be with family and friends this weekend. My beautiful sisters came up from Newport and San Diego to celebrate Easter with the family. Plus, our young and incredibly fun relatives from Australia came to visit for Easter, which was a blast! Needless to say, I didn't have much computer time at all, with all of our hours of catching up and lots of cooking (I am permanently full). I am really excited about the line up of posts this week, so make sure you stay tuned! Have a wonderful Monday everyone. xo

The Enchanted Forest

My jaw dropped when I discovered this perfectly dreamy editorial shot by the talented Natalie J. Watts in this Spring's Vecu. From the softly swept curls to the ethereal lighting, the shots are truly enchanting and magical. The perfect escape for a whimsical Spring day.

Spring Outfit Inspiration

Neutrals & Bold Color

Lately, I have been completely obsessing over this trend for Spring. I love the punch of bold color against the earthy neutrals, which help to balance out and completely freshen up the look. Inspiration for my Thursday outfit, perhaps?

The Perfectly Modern Dining Room

Recently I have found that my eye has repeatedly been drawn towards perfectly modern dining areas (just right for my San Francisco apartment). Although I have always had a soft spot for formal dining rooms (someday this will happen!), I have been looking for more and more fun ideas that are more applicable to my living space at this moment. Right now, I have a fabulous round glass table, similar to the one directly above, and two traditional black/brown dining chairs with leopard print seats. All that is missing is an incredible chandelier, a new area rug, and the room should be set!

Coachella Fashion Recap: Cali Style

With the Coachella music festival wrapping up last night in Indio, California, I wanted to highlight the relaxed, perfectly trendy, and quintessentially California style that the festival boasted. My favorite outfit has to be the first dress with the perfectly cut out slits, feminine tulle skirt, gladiator sandals and fabulous vintage necklace--absolutely fresh, electric and perfectly memorable. Summer cannot come soon enough!
